Amy's still not showing any pudge--err, baby pudge that is. But this is where she is, week 15, 2nd trimester. She and I had a discussion about what size Max might be and Amy feels that he's about the size of an avarage human fist--a little, adult fist.
I thought that I would feel Amy's pain and stuffed a balled up underwear (one of mine) down my pants to get a better understanding of what she's feeling. I realize that there is no comparison but it was an interesting exercise nonetheless.
By 11:00pm, I removed the balled up underwear from inside my pants and and reaffirmed the respect and admiration for what Amy is going through and in fact, what all women endure for nine months. It really places things in perspective.
She's not sick anymore and it's back to business as usual--still the same lovely, demure, innocent and sweet Amy that I married a scant year ago. I expect that more Jekyll-Hyde changes are forthcoming but so far, things look good. We have a March 9th appointement with Max's medical staff. I'm sure I'll have more to report then.
She's still working on that Icelandic Jacket and hasn't started the Inca hat yet.

Speaking of burritos, I laid off the carne asada burritos and cheese burgers and my heart burn isn't as bad.
Jerry, good job on the laying off the junk crap. eating better and the body feeling better sure does make a difference. speaking of which, Amy, has your appetite been changing? more chocolates? more dairy? or is that too early. Also, how many weeks untill the baby is a "premie" (<- I don't know how you spell that, sorry)
One of my favorites things about someone being pregnant is Babyshowers! are you both planning one? it's a good excuse to get free stuff. y'know what I think Alex should do..to get the full effect of Amy being Pregnant. Alex can wear those pregnany belly uniform. Amy, that can be Alex's punishment for making the GAS comment about you. Naughty Alex, Tsk Tsk Tsk.
