Week 25

I don't think Max is really saying that but I thought it was funny. I tease Amy a lot through this so as to keep things around the house light hearted. In fact, we tease each other a lot and do everything possible to keep this experience incredible.

For starters, Amy's belly is getting bigger. At first I didn't notice it--typical male--I don't notice new hairdoos either or ask for directions until Amy tells me that we're lost, but that's a different story.

The other night, Amy laid back on the bed after her bath. I was watching TV when she sighed and told me that she felt bigger--much bigger and she grabbed her belly in a way that I had not noticed before. Of course this got my attention but she told me not to be concerned as Max is probably just growing. We Corderos make high poundage babies--we're talking heavy burrito poundage and I think that she's mildly concerned that she'll give birth to a cannon ball.

Believe it or not, it may sound strange but I really feel guilty that I cannot bear more of the pain of carrying a child. I wish there was a way to just encase Amy and Max in a chamber with nothing but a TV, food and a direct line to Starbucks and let them both sleep until August. We're so anxious to meet Max and I think about them both incessantly. I don't know what else to do but to be at her beck and call.

Max is moving now more than ever and it's exciting to see the movement through her shirt--there's that much movement. It's only May and we still have three months to go. It's exciting and I'm fascinated by both Amy and Max.

Hello again. Sounds like the babys busy. Alex, you should put a pillow under your shirt or a 12 pack of soda or beer and walk around.

Encase them is illegal so I would not recommend it.

I was thinking of the "poundage" comment you made, I take offense to that because I was born skinny. But then again? I think it's the menudo in the babys system, jk.

Yeah.. I agree with Jerry. What's with the poundage comment. You're gonna freighten Amy. If the baby is born with poundage then Max will definately have "Pierna blanquitas" just like when you were born. Alex, you were the only one. The rest of the corders were born just fine. hehe. jk.
