This is an interesting post because there has been some talk that Max might be Max 01 and Max 02--yes, twins. It's not impossible for twins to be born because my (Alex) generation is up for twins. But I've noticed that twins seem to be born to girls--like our cousins in Mexico. So that said, Bibi and Cristina, you guys are up.But you never know. Amy and I talk about it ocasionally (while she cringes ) and discuss the possibility of twins. We've been through the ultrasounds, the blood tests, the dopplers and it's all registered one little--but strong--heartbeat.
Amy just told me ( I wish she'd tell me these things sooner ) that when she went in for her baby exam last week, while I was getting a camera shoved down my throat, thought she heard two heartbeats. Sound is a strange thing and it could have been the nurse simply trying to get a better sound and getting an echo, you never know--stranger things have happened. The Enquirer is always reporting alien babies being born to mothers here on earth--ok, we're getting carried away. Amy was also lamenting the fact that she's getting bigger and it's only May. We still have a ways to go, err, Amy still has a ways to go.
Wouldn't it be funny though. Amy was concerned about an 11 pound cannon ball, how about two 9 - 10 pounders hitting the nest--you can imagine our surprise, instant bookends. But I'll be there for Amy in the delivery room helping out in any way that I can.
Honestly, I do think there is only one little Max but I can't help entertaining two little Maxs. OOh the toys!!!! the spoiling, the cries, the love and the joy of being sorrounded by babies, gotta' love it!

I could just see it now, a baby under each arm one needing to be changed the other needing to be fed and you standing in the middle of the room not knowing how/which/what to do next. LOL - And I am sure the house would be just as full of love and happy baby sounds if Max 01 shows up solo.

You're all evil!! If there are two, Donna and Jerry are first up to babysit, since they're the ones jinxing me :D! And Jerry, if you want twins, you'd better get busy :) LOL!!
Seriously, two would be cool, but overwhelming, I'd think. I fully admire any parent who's gone thru a multiple-birth; I just can't imagine myself being able to cope.
If you think about it, naming two babies would be cool. Here are some ideas;
1. Yin and Yank
2. Wydont & Youaskim
3. Eb and Flo
4. Maxwell and Maxine (Max to Max)
5. Batman and Robin
6. One and Zero
7. Burry and Toe (it's lunch time)
The possibilities are endless. And besides, I'd be in the delivery room helping out :)
Yeah ok, I am up next in having kids but I'm not having twins. I don't want double the pain. However, two little wobbling penguins would be adorable. Amy, if you had twins, I'll definately volunteer to babysit! I think they're cool. whats wrong double the diapers.. once you see what one baby is eating you'll know what NOT to feed the other! ew - i can't believe I just said that, that's pretty gross. lol! Alex, you better not faint in the delivery room considering this would be your first time. AND NO LOOKING AT THE MACHINES WHILE SHE'S IN LABOR! Amy will smack your forehead!
Somehow, I don't think that smacking me on the forehead will be Amy's prefered reaction while she's in labor. Machines...yea, I can just see it now.

I'm wondering if there might be two tinies in momma's tummy... I am curious person. Twins would be fun, in a very terrible way that totally rocks! Happy happy happy times two!
