Great Baby Shower!!!

Max had a wonderful baby shower on Saturday. Here's a quick rundown of the cool stuff that Max received.
  • a bunch of cool onesies
  • a digital picture display
  • a rockin' crib
  • two really cute bathrobes
  • a fluffy bunny
  • a stuffed lamb
  • a fat piggy-bank
  • ultra-tiny baby socks
  • colorful crochet blanket
  • really cool crochet rasta hat
  • white and silver crochet hood
  • white, silver and lavender bunting ( It's like a baby bag--I just learned this--it's beautiful)
  • bibs
  • binkies
  • a musical bouncer
  • a beautiful memory book keepsake
I hope I didn't forget anything and if I did, please let me know. Seeing these gifts made me extremely emotional about how blessed Max is to have such wonderful group of family and friends. Thank you all so much again for reading this blog and being part of our experience.

Hi mom! Thanks for stopping by AND leaving a note. Speaking of stopping by, where are the rest of you? JERRY? :)

I'm here. I didn't know what to say because I wasn't invited to the baby shower, JK!! Anyway, looks like you got a lot of stuff, Lucky Baby. I wonder how much stuff I got before I was born? Have to ask my Mom.

I actually remember your baby shower. You got the same stuff that all pregnant mothers get--a bunch of pastel colored baby stuff. It's the same now as it was in 1970. Oh, the only difference is that baby car seats can now use seat belts, not the yellow nylon rope that dad tied down that ratty looking, plastic baby seat. Hey! at least you got one. I was just told to hang on--I didn't even get a baby car seat.

Haha.. you boys are silly. Poor Alex had to hang on his dear life. You can't say you didn't have fun 'just "hanging on," however, times have changed. Btw, Amy, you missed my gift. I got Max a mood light that changes colors. He needs a little light to keep the monsters away at night! jk!! speaking of monsters.. I can still taste the baby applesauce food in my mouth. That stuff can taste horrible. poor babies. Bleugh!

Sharon here! The shower was fun. Cutting the straws shorter on the pacifier game was the highlight of my day - although it seemed to make things easier! Kim was miffed when I landed the nook on the babies mouth, calling me a CHEATER, but of course, that jealousy talking. Max was large and (yellow - in Amy's top) as he will be for sometime (baby clothes), smack-dab-in front of Amy. I looked at him for a bit and wondered what he'd be in 2027. Most importantly, loved. Ya'all didn't eat enough sandwiches!! :o) Sharon
