Max is late.

Yes, Max is officially late. The baby blew past the first due date which was the 21st and now the second--corrected--due date which was today, the 24th. There's nothing wrong, in fact--the nurse says that the baby is doing great and as active as usual. Yesterday they took Max's pulse and came in around 120 which is within normal limits. At this point, labor induction has been scheduled for early next week. But even after that process starts, it can still take a few days to affect all systems involved in labor.

The fact is that Max is simply comfortable and evidently getting everything it needs to sustain a happy and fruitful fetal lifestyle. Amy's doing everything possible to induce labor the truth is that nobody's really sure whether any of those methods really work.

So we wait, and wait, through false labor pains, we watch Max move around a lot. We now see what appear to be little knees or elbows. Amy feels little fingers occasionally and apparently spinning around like the baby's break-dancing or something.

We'll keep everyone posted and make the appropriate announcements when the time comes.
