Taz is tame compared to what we've been going through with Max. He is large and in charge. He is in motion, constant non-stop motion. But seriously, I feel blessed to have an kid as curious and active as Max. All children are blessings, but the hyper ones can be a lot of fun and Max is just that.If it's in the way, he moves it, pushes, pulls and if all else fails he'll attempt to just crawl over it. That's usually where Amy and I intervene and pull him off of whatever he just climbed. We've had to move furniture around to make it harder for Max to climb things but he improvises and seems to find new ways of climbing furniture.
It's now really hard to get him to take a nap, almost frustrating if we're particularly tired. He gets put in his crib but he's still waking up around two am for a shot of formula. He stays awake for about an hour and then dozes off. Then he's up again for another fast-action day of baby activities and other new experiences.
Max will be a year old in two weeks and we have a big party planned as we're going to celebrate three late August babies. Max's godfather, Albert; myself and of course, Max. We're not sure how we're going to celebrate it. We thought we'd have a huge cake and just let Max crawl into it. I don't know... it sounds like fun.
Look! My first pull up!
Is there a problem?
