Ok, as of today, the 21st... Max is slightly late--sort of... Let me explain.
- The first due date that was calculated was August 21--but that first date is rarely accurate, it's just a really good guess.
- The second "adjusted date" was August 24. This date was obtained by examining the ultrasound results.
Max could have made a "healthy" (no longer a premie) appearance at the end of 36 weeks, which was back on
August 3rd but no dice. I thought the baby'd make it out around that time because of how much movement we saw but obviously, Max had different plans. Sometimes pregnancy is allowed to continue into 42 weeks which would put us somewhere in early September--but Max will not be allowed to go this far. We have the last doctor's appointment this Thursday, the 23rd where we will schedule the baby's induction for the last week in August--then we'll see Max.
Regardless, the baby will be born in the last week of August either by induction or because it's just time.
I hope this explanation clears some confusion.

Yes, that clears up the confusion. Is Amy still working?
yes -- Friday is her last day working as it now stands.
I wonder what Max is waiting for. Doesn't he realize he has heaps of family and friends that want to hold and see him? Besides, Jerry needs a GI-Joe buddy. J/K. Poor Amy, How are you feeling? sick of carrying Max around? MAXX.. you're not letting your mama have a good night sleep. Come out and Play!!
