Six months!

"Hold my calls -- I'm going to lunch..."

Yes, Max is now gainfully employed by a good company that understands that he needs to help support his formula needs. Times are tough and he's doing his part, way to go Max!

Max is now six months old and growing, stretching and learning new things faster than I thought. I didn't know what to expect from him at this point as every child is different.

He's lively, energetic and finally found his toes with and without socks. He's louder, much louder. He's still mostly yelling out 'baby-babble'. Every now and then we'll hear Max yell out sounds that might be words but I don't think they are. We have to watch him closer now when we take him to the store in his stroller as he likes to wiggle and reach for things.

He tries to crawl but I don't think he understands the coordination required for forward movement and ends up squirming like a little worm--it's really cute. He can spin on his belly by moving his arms around and gripping whatever he's laying on. He grunts a lot while he's doing all these things and appears motivated but it's all so hard to tell.

Everything about Max is fantastic and I'm extremely proud of his progress. The only thing that I'm bummed about is that he's outgrowing so many of his cute little clothes that I was getting used to seeing him in. So many cute onesies and PJs--he's getting so big and looking forward to seven months and more progress.

The photos below were taken during a hike in Elfin Forest. Max tried out his new jeep stroller and took on some insane terrain with it. It comes complete with an entertainment system and a diaper changing compartment below. A year ago, I was looking into getting a jeep--who'd have thought that a year later, I'd be pushing a "Jeep" stroller instead of riding in one. Life is funny.
