I'm feeling great. Unfortunately my robust health is cause for concern for my poor hubby. We still have a few days to go before our first pre-natal appointment, but I think that after we speak with a doctor, he'll feel better.
I had a bit of a scare yesterday, when I went searching for my company's maternity leave policy. The only thing I could find was information on the Family and Medical Leave Act. This was bad. Very bad. Apparently, FMLA only applies to people who have been with their company for 12 months as of the date they go on leave. Max is due sometime in July/August (that's my guess, anyway), and I started work here in October. Can you do the math? Yep, that's right. NOT 12 months. So today I went in to talk with my HR rep. She's such a lovely lady. I'm good to go, with 90 days of Short Term Disability to count on for after Max makes his (or her) grand entrance. Phew!O! The last thing I wanted to mention. Last week, I was out shopping and seriously considered purchasing a scale in order to keep track of the poundage that I gain during this adventure. A purchase considered, then vetoed on the basis of being just too depressing.
LOL!

Looks kinda like a misshapen Stretch Armstrong doll...
...or as my sister--one of Max's more charming aunts--referred to Max as "Baby Mush"...
